Kona Hawaii
'Kona' means 'leeward side' in Hawaiian. There is both a north and a south Kona, but both enjoy a perpetual summer. Kona is known for its outstanding coffee, but anything can grow here. Expect cool uplands and warm lowlands. There is more to see and do in this area than perhaps even in Hilo. The area is over 70 miles long, and you could easily spend your entire vacation here.
